About

Depending on which mythology you subscribe to, Jason Filler Art and Illustration was either founded in late 1977, sometime between the release of Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life" LP and the passing of Elvis Presley, or a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

The story goes: Jason found a magic pen in a horse pasture behind his parents' home in Clarkston, WA and was able to create whatever he imagined, as long as he had some paper and a sturdy surface.

In reality, Jason studied very hard at California College of the Arts, under several amazing teachers and mentors, and has taken on a lifelong quest to adapt, hone, and reinvent his craft.

While there may not be any supernatural powers in his pen, Jason brings a magical quality to his work, which he is willing to share with you, provided you are willing to use his powers for good, not evil.
