LOVECRAFT PROJECT 1
I have been a lifelong fan of horror. In my youth, I would watch or read anything labeled "scary" that I could get my hands on (and sneak past my parents). As I grew older, I became more discerning in my horror tastes, craving atmospheric dread and suspense over blatant violence and jump-scares. This sophistication of my horror palette led me back to the fiction of HP Lovecraft, an author whose books I carried around in school but failed to grasp at the time. Upon my recent rediscovery of Lovecraft, I realized his work lent itself so well to my style and illustration sensibility that I have taken it upon myself to illustrate all of his work. May God have mercy on my soul.
